Like the dandies who, since the 19th century, have made their existence a work of art, these pens also celebrate a conscious aesthetic, where nothing is left to chance.
FEEL Dandy Velvet – The warmth of twilight
A soft, deep burgundy that evokes the warmth of theatrical velvets and fine wine glasses. FEEL Dandy Velvet is a visual and tactile caress: its matte finish invites you to hold it gently, transforming writing into a slow and refined pleasure. The Guilloché technique: craftsmanship and tradition
With FEEL Dandy Notturno and Dandy Velvet, SCRIBO continues the story that began with the first FEEL Dandy, released in 2024, a tribute to that rebellious, elegant and unmistakable style.
The art of Guilloché craftsmanship, the protagonist of the entire Dandy collection, remains the symbol of the perfect balance between tradition and innovation that still inspires all our creations today: an ancient and rare skill, mastered by only a few artisans in the world, capable of transforming a writing instrument into a small masterpiece of style.
The refined ‘Grana di riso’ or ‘Barley’ pattern, very popular in the early 1900s, returns on FEEL Dandy Notturno and Dandy Velvet. Originally designed to reduce the glare of metal, this pattern – made up of soft or sharp waves that touch each other in a rhythmic pattern, creating the shape of grains of rice – has become synonymous with elegance and refinement over time, perfectly in line with the dandy spirit.
Each line is drawn manually, one line at a time, using mechanical tools that imprint a lively and harmonious design on the surface. It is a precious art whose documented origins date back to at least 1624, when it was used to decorate vintage watch cases.
Even today, it is still created by the expert hands of the artisans at the Italian company Renzetti1909, a partner of SCRIBO and one of the few custodians in the world of the true artisanal method of Guilloché.
Symbols of Italian craftsmanship excellence, only 88 pieces of each colour of the Dandy Notturno and Dandy Velvet models have been produced, made of resin with rose gold finishes.
The future belongs to the dandy. It is the refined who will hold the positions of power.
