The refined ‘Grana di riso’ or ‘Barley’ pattern, very popular in the early 1900s, returns on FEEL Dandy Notturno and Dandy Velvet. Originally designed to reduce the glare of metal, this pattern – made up of soft or sharp waves that touch each other in a rhythmic pattern, creating the shape of grains of rice – has become synonymous with elegance and refinement over time, perfectly in line with the dandy spirit.

Each line is drawn manually, one line at a time, using mechanical tools that imprint a lively and harmonious design on the surface. It is a precious art whose documented origins date back to at least 1624, when it was used to decorate vintage watch cases.

Even today, it is still created by the expert hands of the artisans at the Italian company Renzetti1909, a partner of SCRIBO and one of the few custodians in the world of the true artisanal method of Guilloché.

Symbols of Italian craftsmanship excellence, only 88 pieces of each colour of the Dandy Notturno and Dandy Velvet models have been produced, made of resin with rose gold finishes.

Wisteria (Glicine), a small climbing plant that color the city with clusters of lilac flowers, bloom in Bologna with the arrival of spring.

Native to China and Japan, wisteria was introduced into the gardens of Europe, starting with those of England, in the 18th century and soon became among the most popular and appreciated exotic plants because of their spectacular and fragrant blooms.

In the language of flowers, there are so many meanings attributed to wisteria, from beauty to sensuality. Of all the values that are associated with wisteria, we like to mention that wisteria has always been a symbol of friendship in Europe.

The Conero Riviera is a pearl of the Adriatic coast of central Italy.

A promontory with sinuous shapes drawn by the winds gives its name to this area of the Marche region: Monte Conero.

Among the unforgettable beaches set in the rock and dominated by unspoiled nature and small villages where you can breathe art and culture, the Due Sorelle beach stands out, closed on the north side by two stacks, called “The Two Sisters”. This characteristic cove can now be reached by sea or through a footpath and is not equipped with services to keep it as natural as possible.

In the same way, the Sassi Neri beach, so called because of the dark rocks of its seabed, is a free and unspoiled beach of pebbles, gravel and rock, reachable by sea or on foot from the nearby beach, suitable for those who love to enjoy the sea and nature in complete tranquility and autonomy.

The Conero Riviera is therefore a stretch of coast full of dozens of beaches surrounded by rock and lush vegetation, which can be reached by sea or through paths and numerous cities rich in history and traditions.

Also for these reasons, in 2018, the Marche region opened the procedures for the recognition of the Conero Riviera as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our trip to the Conero Riviera inspires the colours and shades of our new three FEEL, made entirely of ebonite. FEEL Monte Conero is made of brown/greenish ebonite with yellow gold trim; FEEL Due Sorelle in bluish ebonite is adorned with platinum finishes and finally FEEL Sassi Neri, embellished with yellow gold finishes, is made of black ebonite with multicolor inserts.

The particular texture of ebonite, a material used for over a century to make fountain pens, makes each specimen unique for the variety of colors that changes for each fountain pen.

The three FEEL of the ebonite collection are made in 90 pieces per model.

Orange is a fruit native to Southeast Asia that was introduced to Europe in the 10th century. Today it is one of the most cultivated fruits in the world, and is produced in many countries, including Italy, Spain, Brazil, the United States and China.

The blue caliph fig is a variety of fig native to Turkey and is also cultivated in Italy, Spain and other Mediterranean countries. It is a late fig variety, which ripens between August and September.

Orange and blue caliph fig are two fruits that therefore have a very strong geo-gastronomic bond.

Orange is a truly versatile fruit, which can be eaten fresh, squeezed, or used in the kitchen for the preparation of sweet, savory and drinks.

The blue caliph fig, on the other hand, is a fruit with a sweet and aromatic taste and is often used for the preparation of jams and ice creams.

Their intense, bright, and bold colours inspired our two new FEELs.

FEEL Arancia, with platinum trim, is made with orange mother-of-pearl resin and has variable shades in each piece. Just like its versatile uses in the kitchen, FEEL Arancia represents creativity and energy. It is a color that captures the attention of those who use it and inspires those who want to give voice to their imagination.

FEEL Blu Califfo, apparently more sober with its blue/purple and light orange shades that enhance its depth, is the ideal object for those looking for inspiration in writing and reflection. This time, on this refined color, we wanted to present two trims: the ruthenium one, to give a classic but decisive touch and, for the first time, the rose gold trim, to make the deep shades that characterize this shaded blue resin even more elegant.

FEEL Orange is made in 219 pieces with platinum trim.

FEEL Blu Califfo with rose gold trim is made in 119 pieces and FEEL Blue Califfo ruthenium version in 100 pieces.

The shadows and transparencies that we glimpse on our FEEL Ombre Magenta, thanks to its resin, are more distinct and reveal the inside of the fountain pen body and its several craftsmanship in a clearer way than on the FEEL Ombre Verdi, in which the transparencies appear, to the human eye, more hidden.

The new FEEL Graniglia and Verde Antico are inspired by the material effects and colours of late 19th century.

Graniglia (grit), a generic name for stones or other substances reduced to small fragments used in industry, is one of the first materials created through the recycling of marble and stone processing waste, which is bound with cement, colored with natural oxides and mixed with water.

Just like many traditional Italian dishes, the Graniglia tile originated as a poor man’s product. The infinite possibilities of decorating with borders and carpets that enrich the plain colors, have allowed and still allow the production of very high-quality floors that distinguish the most beautiful floors in Italy and around the world.

Grey, blue, brown and green shades characterize the colors of this material and, together with platinum trim, give life to our FEEL Graniglia.

Green color in particular, which was widely used in paintings, ceramics and glass during the same historical period which saw the birth of the artistic movement known as Art Noveau (between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century), is the protagonist of our FEEL Verde Antico. This is also enriched with platinum trim that nicely accompanies the lighter streaks of the fountain pen body.

Verde Antico (vintage green) is obtained by combining blue with desaturated yellow and a substantial grey component. A soft shade, between aquatic and wild, strongly reminiscent of nature and conveying serenity and harmony.
